with Jack Kornfield, Frank Ostaseski, Debra Chamerlin-Taylor, Julie Wester and Jai Uttal This day is a tribute to and benefit for Stephen and Ondrea Levine. Our difficulties can be transformed into a source of compassion, wisdom and grace. Facing certain inevitable sorrows is part of being human. Some people close down and harden in an attempt to avoid life's pain. Others allow their heart to be broken open and discover there a boundless healing reservoir of compassion and love. The willingness to open to the 10,000 joys and sorrows is a profound possibility that blossoms from spiritual practice and grace. This day will offer a rich treasury of teachings, guided meditations and exercises that support awakening through difficulty. There will be a special message from Ram Dass. Special note: Stephen and Ondrea Levine have been beloved teachers to thousands worldwide through their books, workshops, and tapes on conscious living and dying. After decades of selfless service for others, they now need financial assistance due to illness that has drained their savings.

“This is a beloved book and beyond a book. It is an evocative, poetic, ecstatic, and inspirited sacred, experiential calling. A calling to you--YES, YOU.”

— Jean Watson, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, Living Legend (AAN)

“Those who companion suffering daily need to turn inward to metabolize what they have witnessed. This exquisite book, filled with beautiful images and poetic wise words, is the inspiration and support needed to grow a wise heart.”

— Frank Ostaseski, founder and director of the Metta Institute and author of The Five Invitations: Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully

“In this unique time of the COVID-19 pandemic, this book should be considered a tribute to the tremendous courage being displayed by nurses around the world. There is much wisdom conveyed throughout by those who have been there serving others with such grace.”
