  • Marijuana is already being used by hospice patients in Colorado. It is ingested orally, such as in cookies or candy. From my discussions on the Internet, many people seem to support it. Several have said they wish their dying loved ones had used some in the past, but it was not legal. Aside from relaxing patients, marijuana seems to be effective in reducing pain, nausea, and in increasing appetite. With hospice patients, there is more flexibility with caregiving due to their unique conditions.

  • Interesting timing Frances...was just talking to one of the HCF members about the use of marijuana in hospice.  Thanks for posting.
