  • The hospice where I volunteer requires annual TB tests for all volunteers who interact with patients.  The agency pays for the tests.

  • Our hospice association requires annual TB tests, and we pick up the costs.

  • We are part of a hospital and annual tb tests are required of all staff and volunteers who see patients. The hospital picks up the cost.
  • After the initial administration of a PPD, 7 to 10 days later they get a second ppd (to ensure that the result is not a false positive).  Then (1) ppd is administered annually. Our company covers the expense for these tests.  Hope this helps ~

  • Sorry for a late reply.  With some groups -- TB's every six months and others every year.

  • On initial health assessment, we require a 2-step PPD and then 1 step yearly. If someone has proof that they have had the 2-step within the last year, we will accept that. Hope this helps.
  • We are required to do a two-step (within 2 weeks of each other) initially and one step annually.  We pay for them.  We are also required to do a background check and drug screen which we also pay for.
  • We require yearly TB testing for volunteers and we pay for it.
